After School Clubs
In these clubs a range of skills are covered. We offer a more formal course that focuses on the written structure and expectations of different exams with a focus on question type, exam confidence and creative writing style.
In our most popular club we offer the skills needed for the more practical element of the exam process. Critical thinking and logic goes beyond the classroom and revision books; it is a life skill we must develop with intention. Aside from supporting in the exams, the development of critical thinking will build confidence and allow students to tackle tasks in a range of ways. This club will pose a range of scenarios for students to explore, develop and enhance their critical thinking and logic. The pupils will have fun whilst developing these essential skills.
The club will cover 9 basic intellectual thinking standards: clarity, accuracy, precision, relevance, depth, breadth, logic, fairness and flexibility.
